Frontier is a desktop app that gives your ideas somewhere to keep going. Your repositories, your workspaces and your conversations with a coding agent live in one place, so you never start from zero when you sit down to build something.
It works with the agents you already use: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or Grok, or a model running on your own machine. Pick one for everything, or a different one for each project; see Connectors.
The core idea is simple: describe your project's structure and conventions once — as a workspace and, optionally, a Domain — and that context follows every conversation you start from it, automatically.
Everything lives on your own machine as plain files you own, so nothing about how Frontier works is a black box, and nothing leaves your computer unless you choose to send it somewhere.
