A scaffolded connector is a best-effort starting point, built from the tool's own published documentation rather than confirmed end to end against a real install. Aider is the one left. It shows as Coming Soon until it's verified, so you can't pick it by accident.
One practical gap: Aider has no structured way of reporting what it did back into Frontier, so a background Agent run through it may finish its work but show no visible result text in the conversation — the work still happened, it just isn't narrated back the same way Claude's runs are.
None of this affects the default connector — it only matters if you've deliberately picked one of the newer options for a specific reason.
